Yesterday, the last Marvel Cinematic Universe film of 2019 hit theaters and already it’s generating a ton of buzz. Yes, Spider-Man: Far From Home has now arrived to wrap up Phase 3 of the MCU – which began back in 2016 with Captain America: Civil War – and pave the way for the next chapter of this beloved franchise, which should hopefully be revealed later this month at San Diego Comic-Con.
Fans have been flocking to theaters to catch Far From Home, too, as it took in an impressive $39.3 million domestically on its first day. And when you consider that first day was a Tuesday, you begin to realize just how impressive it really is. And while it’s fair to assume by this point a good chunk of people have seen the sequel, we imagine there’s still a lot of fans waiting for the upcoming weekend to catch it.
If you fall into that camp, and are itching to get a look at those post-credits scenes that everyone keeps talking about, you’re in luck. Both the mid and post-credits scenes have leaked online today and though they’re far from the best quality, you can check them out for yourself down below.
So, there you have it. It’s easy to see why these scenes have driven fans wild, too. Not only do we get the shocking return of J. Jonah Jameson, played once again by J.K. Simmons, but there’s also that intriguing tease of Nick Fury in outer space, presumably up to something important that’ll be explained in a future MCU film.
All things considered, both the post and mid-credits scenes are hugely important for the franchise and after Spider-Man: Far From Home closed out Phase 3 so wonderfully, we’re very excited to see where things go next.
